Leo has shown a real interest in the potty of late and at home he could go without a nappy all afternoon and not have any accidents. He can even stay dry during a nap sometimes as well as control his bladder if he has a 'leak'. I'm not quite sure how to deal with a little one using the potty as Grace was over 2.5yrs before she showed any interest in a potty! And as she was in disposables I bought pull-ups for her to use for a couple of weeks until she got the hang of going out and about without a nappy on.

Can anyone recommend a good cloth training pant or do you think I'm better off just keeping him in a nappy? I'm not sure if I'm jumping the gun or if I should be offering him the opportunity to go without?

Any thoughts most appreciated!

Vic xx

You could just use a pocket but put an old style cloth nappy folded on top of the fleece rather than in it. So he feels the wetness.

I don't have any experience with TT though. But at least if he wets then its absorbed.

I've been eyeing up the little beetle ones from mothersinstinct... but Seb isn't showing any signs yet, so would be silly to get them. They look so yummy though.

Hi, i have just ordered two Starbunz from Mothersinstinct. My DD started TT earlier this week and is going on the potty by herself with only 1 accident per day, im so proud of her as she has decided to do it all by herself. I just brought the training pants for when we go out "just in case".
