Beef chips are good for finger foods
Any meat really; just puree or cut it up fine
Liver is a good source of iron. I have it in the freezer & grate into the vege as needed

Spencer eats beef/lamb mince without me having to wizz it, but then he is really good with lumps and pretty much eats whole food now. I give him strips of chicken off of roasts, they are nice and tender and easy for him to chew. Bits of bacon (just keep a really good eye on her why she has it and try to take all the fatty bits off it). Pretty much any meat will go through the magic bullet though.

chuck it in boiling water until it is cooked. You can poach in other liquids but maybe water is easiest for Kylah....the only reason I say poach is that then the meatis soft not hard and dry

I get any meat thats on special (beef, pork, chicken- whatever) and cut up a few bits of fruit and boil it all up together. I then freeze it in ice cubes. That way you can make a huge batch of veges and just chuck an ice cube or 2 in when you defrost it. I make a few different flavours so she doesn't get sick of it.
When I cook fish pie she just gets it straight from the bowl (but ours has milk in it so Kylah might still be a bit young).
Most of our dinners I just take a wee bit out and blend it up if its too lumpy.

We do a really nice mince for Sam.
It is 500g mince, 1 kumera & 1 apple. Fry off the mince, chuck in the kumera and apple and a cup of water and simmer till everything is tender. Then puree it up and freeze into cubes.
Sam still loves this, and it is great for throwing in with veges or pasta/rice etc. We are still doing them (obviously not pureed anymore).

I buy the Aria lamb or beef chips. Chop them finely then cook them in the microwave before adding to the rest of Lily's food.
With liver, if you freeze it then you can grate it into the veges and as you cook or heat that, that cooks the liver enough. Shoul donly give liver a couple of times a week though.

I think the recommended is no more than 2 tablespoons of liver per week? Pays to check that if you want to give her liver.
For anything else, just cook it until it's soft. If you're having a roast chicken already, just give her some of the thigh meat, cooked through and cut into small pieces across the grain. Same pretty much goes for any meat but I find chicken a good start because it doesn't have a strong flavour and is easy to chew.

Lol, I haven't given Lily chicken yet as my focus was for high iron sources due to delaying solids to 6 months. Good tip for cutting it there Busy mum.
