Hi
I'm due my first in Sept and just sussing as to whether there are any other 1st time Mums who happen to be single in and around Te Atatu South? Most of my mates with kids live in the city so it would be cool to make some connections out west.
Also wondering if anyone knows of a good anti natal classes out west?

I am not a single Mum so can't help you there, but if you contact the West Auckland Parent Centre, they run fantastic antenatal classes. You do have to pay though, but they are definately worth the money! You can also meet some other mums to be and form a coffee group!

I am not in Auckland, but come and hang out with us in the September thread. There's quite a few of us in there and everyone is really nice.

Welcome to OHbaby! I'm not a single mum anymore, but I used to be, I was on my own from when Maya was 3 mths till she was nearly 2.

I'm not a single Mum, but re: antenatal classes, there is the Parents Centre one (as someone has already mentioned) the website is: WAPC

or there are some free ones run in Titirangi: Titirangi

Probably your midwife can also give you some more info about them?
