Hi ladies

I had a cold 2 weeks ago and got rid of the cold symptoms probably 6 days later but ever since then I have been SO fatigued to the point that I have lasted 2 hours at work and now have had this week off work to rest and still arent feeling that much better energy level wise after 2 weeks of pretty much rest aside from a few hours work...

I was wondering if anyone else has had the same when they have been sick- taken way longer to get better or if anyone has had fatigue later on in pregnancy?...im worried its not going to get any better and im going to be like this for the rest of the pregnancy I had my tests the other day and Im not anemic....

I'm not pregnant but I have EXACTLY the same situation. I've made an appt with my Dr on Monday to check it out but I think it's the cold virus.

I last about two hours and then I'm woolly headed and have to rest.

I was just exhausted the whole time when I was pregnant, especially in the first and third trimester. But then again I had horrible morning sickness and had to quit studying when I was about 9 weeks preggers cos I was throwing up 10 times a day. I spent most of my pregnancy in pajamas

Take it easy, and remember that it takes heaps of energy to grow a baby! So if you are still recovering from a cold or something, it will probably be taking it's toll on your body. Just take it easy and rest up heaps.

Have you tried taking a multivitamin or something? Maybe you are running low on reserves since you've been sick...
