hey ladies i just need a bit of a vent as i am starting to struggle with this pregnancy alot and i am only 12 weeks(well 12 weeks tomorrow as its not yet midnight)

i have found out that if i lift anything heavy or move my wrist/elbow/shoulder in a strange way it hurts. i get a massive dull aching pain that hangs around for ages. its making life very difficult as i cant lift tash in or out of the car. grrr
i get serious bad cramp in my thighs. i had it in the bath last night and i couldnt get out so i called out for df to come help me and he comes in and asks if i want a blanket when i explain to him that i had really bad cramp and i couldnt get out and it was cold.so i spend like 40 mins bawling my eyes out cos i actually could not get out and i was in lotsa pain and freezing my bum off(this is like 11pm) he eventually come back and helps me out. but i still dont find it funny cos i was so sore and so upset.
the sickness....who ever called i morning sickness needs there head read. i havent really been able to keep anything down other then the odd drink of water or lemonade and the occasional bit of food. and it doesnt look like slowing down any time soon.and the smallest of smells make me sick.i actually woke up on the bathroom floor the other night on a pile of dirty washing. when tash is looking for me the first place she looks is the loo. and since when has being sick become s spectator sport?? is rather hard to have perfect aim when you have two cats and a 2 yr old leaning over the loo with you peering first at your face then watching shall we say.
i cant stop crying. i seriously cant remember being this emotional with tash. i mean the smallest thing sets me off.and i have become the worst person to live with. if im not crying i am grumpy or asleep.and at night now i am too tired to actually do anything but i am not tired enough to sleep.
and lastly i wake up every moring with very very sore hips as i cant lie on my belly cos it hurts and i cant lie on my back cos i feel super sick.
i am actually looking forward to labour.

sorry for the book ladies. i just needed to get it all out there. feel free to add your own problems.

Big big hugs!

I'm sorry things aren't going well so far. I hope the hormones settle down soon and you start feeling a little more human.

That all sounds very familiar! The sickness and the hormonal emotional stuff is really tough! I can't imagine doing it with another kid to look after (not to mention the cats!)

You are likely to start feeling better soon - hang in there! Have you got a 12wk scan to look forward to?

Sorry to hear you are feeling so cr@p. I felt so much worse this time round as well and I think its because you can't look after just yourself anymore, you have another little person to care for.

Sounds gross, but I found it nicer to throw up into the bath with the water running, more space for the nosy toddler and not as gross as head down toilet! Also you are at your most lax (loose joints, ligaments causing aches and pains) in your first trimester and near the end when everything is so stretched out. So hopefully all your aches and pains will settle down soon for a few months. I was having horrid hip and pelvic pain earlier on (couldnt walk some days) but heaps better from about 14 weeks. Sleeping with a pillow between your legs might help if you havent already tried. Have you got anyone that could take Tash for half a day so you can have a rest and look after yourself?

Hang in there chicky, I really do hope things get better for you soon. At least you get to see the little one soon. Take care.

dont forget the relaxin in your body will make things like stretching and lifting a bit hard... i wake up most mornings with really sore hands...very bizarre. but yeah it may settle down soon...in fact i hope it does for you cause you have a looong way to go yet.

Awww Tashzmum, I hope you are feeling a bit better now! I know what you mean about the MS, I still have it at almost 24 weeks although it really IS only "morning" sickness now (I was like you, couldn't keep anything down! Was throwing up like 10 times a day). I hope yours doesn't persist that long, but it does get easier and more bearable.

I can't imagine having MS that badly with another child to look after, you are such a trooper!!

big hugs for you
Chloe (4 years) and Oliver (3 years).
