Topic: Rants on being over it! Posted: 30 April 2008 at 1:06pm |
I am over throwing up every morning.
I am over heartburn.
I am over getting up every hour to pee.
I am over it taking an hour to actually get up to pee!
I am over not being able to roll over in bed without assistance from a crane.
What are you over?

Oooh, yeah, here's another one - I am over stubbing my little toe on things coz my gait is such a waddle that I misjudge the edge of doorways and furniture...

I am over commuting at least an hour each way to/from work every day, not being able to get comfortable at all in the car, and especially when my bladder prefers being emptied every 10 minutes!
I am also over the effort it takes just to roll over in bed (3 pillows to rearrange, and then having to drag the duvet back off DH where it has gone!)
I am over none of my bras fitting properly anymore, even when they are brand new, and fit me just 4 weeks ago!
Fortunately, I haven't had any heartburn or throwing up, so I'm slightly better off than you Emma. I agree with the ham thing though Sheza!

I am over never knowing exactly how I'm going to feel emotionally in ten minutes time.
I am over all talk of pregnancy from anyone who isn't pregnant themselves.
I am over the feeling the need to have my life sorted even though its a complete mess.
I am over being tired yet not being able to sleep.
Wow I'm really in a grump.

first - i'm with you!!
I'm over people who have never been pregnant comparing me with women who have had supposedly perfect pregnancies with no issues, no pain and got plenty of sleep
... and I'm over constantly being offered alcohol when I'm obviously pregnant and can't drink...

Ooh yes, re: the alcohol, or even 'bad' food for me!
Offering it to me, and saying things like: "I'm sure one glass of wine won't do you any harm", or "I ate cold ham all the way through MY pregnancy"
It's like people want to make themselves feel better for how they chose to act during their pregnancies, by making me partake in things I have chosen not to!

Oh yes, I had a friend who kept offering me a glass of wine when I was pg with Jett. It got on my nerves, and I thought it was pretty rude! She's never been pg and doesn't want kids. She only drinks red wine, and I don't like red anyways, so wasn't hard to say no, but it would make me feel bad for rejecting her!

I'm over it taking so damb long to get to sleep even though i'm sooooo tired I'm over my mil trying to explain in great detail how to cope with a new baby. oh and I'm so over ppl staring at my belly when i'm out shopping like they've never seen a pregnant woman before.
