all the best kaz- i truely do hope you get your bfp soon hun xxoo take care... and its ok to feel upset, keep talking about it, thats what we are all here for on ohbaby- your support etc... and to share your excitment when it happens

thanks guys
I know that there are a few girls on here that have been trying way longer than me, and i feel really selfish posting on here about how upset i get etc etc,
but i also know that you all understand as well...we have only been trying for nine months since my miscarriage, but it does seem like forever
BUT on the bright side at least i am getting all this time with RHiannon and there is almost 3 years between me and my brother and Kent and his brother

Hugs Kazzle, I remember far too vividly how upset I used to get every month when the evil hag arrived, but if the gremlins have taught me anything it's that good things come to those who wait, even to those who wait a reaaaaally long time!
Hang in there!

I've seen a lot of BFPs on this board Kazzle - and although there are a good number who fall pg after a short period TTC, I've also seen quite a few girls fall pg on this board who have been TTC 12 months to 2 years. It seems that if all is well, it is just a roll of the dice each month, and sometimes it just takes time. The thing that got me from month to month prior to finding out we are infertile, is finding positive things to focus on.

thanks maya and ginger, you guys always know what to say.
was just talking to my mum and she said to me, you know if you hadnt have had your miscarriage you would have been having a baby very soon (like 3 wks or somthing)
and that would have meant that you wouldnt have got the quality time with Rhiannon that i have had in the past 9mths or so.
Which i can see where she is coming from and i have to say i agree.
I am am kinda glad that im not about to give birth now, but do really wish i was pregnant now.
Kent asked me today when i was ovulating, and i said to him i dont know and i dont care, then i corrected my self and said i do know, but not going to tell him, and we are just going to bd as we feel like it for a month or two as we have both been to focused on baby making and i want us back.

Damn good idea Kazzle, I think I may take a leaf out of that book too.
Sometimes TTC is all consuming, and it would be nice to have that spontanaeity back. So I think once AF sorts herself out with me, then we will just enjoy each other as it were, and if by some miracle one of his blind wee guys finds his way, then great. But if not, then we had fun when we wanted to.
Doesnt mean we wont have 'extra' fun around O tho... Its going to be a pain getting this cycle sorted out, and I dont even know where to begin. And then charting to O, oh GROAN! It was all going so well too!
But, I digress, hang in there sweetie, I feel ya pain, I REALLY do, and it is perfectly normal. We luv ya, and we're all in this together! (once a girl scout...you get the idea.)
Now Im off home in the snow to pack for my 7am bus. YAY!

That sounds like a good plan, Kaz, like Bumblefoot said, TTC can be all consuming, sometimes you can feel like it's eating you alive. So if taking a break helps you guys get a bit of perspective on your relationship and remember why you started all this in the first place then it can only be a good thing.
Best of luck with "not trying"

My husband and I have been ttc for 7 months now. I am so tired of it all. I'm tired of trying, tired of people asking if I'm pregnant and having to say no, tired of people asking if it's normal and have I been tested etc.
I wish people would just leave me alone - I will be telling the whole world when it happens so I wish they would just wait for me to bring up the subject.
I am NOT buying ANY more pregnancy tests and am going to try and chill out this month. You start wondering if it will ever happen and I still believe it will but not if I force it!!

hey sandra, its a really downer when ppl keep at you yah.
good luck with your ttcing, my advice is next time you are at the doctors just to ask about getting day 3 and 21 bloods done just to make sure you are ovulating.
other than that just have fun trying

It's not an easy time when people all around you are falling pregnant and its just not happening but it will happen when the time is right.
Big hugs. I know where you are coming from it seemed to take ages before we fall pregnant with our wee man.

Thanks guys for your kind reply. I feel a bit silly now as was just really annoyed yesterday.
I have done the ovulation tests and know I am ovulating - can even feel it happening. Have been pregnant before at 21 but didn't know until too late and was drinking, smoking etc and had a missed miscarriage. So at least I know I can become pregnant - just hope my hubby has the right stuff!!
Good luck to everyone - it's great knowing you're not alone

Kaz, I wish I had found this place before I got pregnant with Caitlin. It took us 18 months of trying before I got pregnant and all of the 18 Afs I was so upset and the only person (other than DH) I could talk to was my best friend who has no intention of ever having kids, so when I would phone her up and burst into tears telling her I got my period AGAIN and that it was yet ANOTHER month we had to try for a baby she would always be really freaked out (understandably LOL). So please feel free to rant and rave, stamp your feet and cry on our shoulders (all be it through the monitor ). I love that there is always someone on here to offer support and has been there done that.
And just to reiterate what others have said - we got PG the month we gave up on nature and booked fertility tests

We had fertility tests done during the cycle I got pregnant with the gremlins, fate has a funny way of working things out sometimes...
