If you've had more than one pregnancy did you have morning sickness with all of them? Or were they different?

With Isabella I didnt find out I was pregnant until I was much further along, and I vomitted so much I lost 5kg's in the first trimester.

With this one nothing yet and I dont know if I should be bracing myself?

With both pregnancies I have had really bad MS- lost 4 kgs with Ella in the first 12 weeks and haven't bothered weighing myself this time around. So far the MS hasn't let up and I am really hanging out to reach the 12 week mark, as that's when it eased off last time. This time around through it hit start much earlier on (i.e. as soon as I found out i was pregnant), so am hoping because it started earlier it will finish earlier (but that would be wishful thinking).

good luck and hope it isn't as bad time around, because it's no fun looking after a toddler while threwing up.

Had it with both but it was different both times.

With Leah I was sick from conception until birth basically....nasty stuff!! I had a big issue with smells with her as well and really sore boobs (nipples mainly) the whole pg. Lost 6 kgs in 1st tri, then gained back 4kg, then lost another 6kg in 3rd tri.

With Joel I was sick from 6-14 weeks but no where near as bad as the first time, lost 6kgs and in the end only gained 1 kg over pre pg weight for the whole pg. Was sick again from 17 - 20 weeks and was pretty good the rest of the time. Didn't have a bad smells prob this time either and was able to eat when I had cooked which I couldn't do last time.

Don't know if it was cos I had 1 of each that it was different but was very glad it was better the second time. 1st time I would vomit up water even!

LMAO....I was like you & found out early & felt fantastic and was thinking "haha got away with MS" Then it hit me at 7 weeks! & was constant 24hrs a day. It was different than #1 where I got ms earlier & it was true ms appearing only in the am.

Hugs & hope you avoid it.

Mine was way lessened with pregnancy number 2. The first I was MS every day from 4-18 weeks! No. 2 I just felt nauseous but never actually sick and the funny thing is I gained heaps of weight with number 1 when I could barely eat and with number 2 I ate like there was no tomorrow (always hungry) and lost weight....

It had completley different ms with each pregnancy.

Baby number 1, I was sick from week 6 - 17. Super sensitive to smells and would spend each evening with my head down the toilet. I struggled to keep any food down at all.

Second time around I felt sick the moment I found out (maybe a head thing...) until about 14 weeks. I never once threw up but constantly felt nauseous. I think the thing I struggled with this time was constantly feeling exhausted and just having to lie down all day (not easy with an active toddler!)

I had two totally different MS experiences.

First time was sick as a dog from 6-20 weeks, threw up every day, felt disgusting all day until bedtime no matter what I did.

This time, 7-14 weeks, nausea in the mornings, feeling better by the afternoon, threw up once or twice a week and usually only when changing a gross nappy from Sam.

I thought maybe because it was so different that I would be having a girl, but no, it's another boy.

I am so glad I found this, I am feeling terrible and AF is only due today.
With #1 I started feeling sick from 6 wks to about 11 wks, but never threw up.
This time I haven't even got a proper dark +ve and I have thrown up twice. I keep thinking I have a bug but no tummy pains and it sits in my throat. I am also having big issues with smells, food fridge, cleaning products my facial cleanser, animals.

Could it be in my head?

For my first two pregnancies I had the occasional moment when food did not appeal but no actual nausea or vomiting.

With this one I had nausea from week 4 through till week 14 and now at week 15 its still there occasionally.

I guess what I am trying to say is that every pregnancy is different and hopefully this one you will not get ms.

With my first pregnancy I was sick as a dog - the moment I woke I would vomit continuosly, it was awful! It continued till about 15 weeks.

Second pregnancy I was feeling nauseous quite early on, but only ever vomited once. It was more of a constant car sick feeling, didnt stop at all during the day either. That continued till I miscarried at 13 weeks.

Third Pregnancy was exactly the same as the second, no vomiting just a bit of dry reaching in the morning and a constant car sickness. It was never as bad as my first, but I was worried perhaps I would miscarry with Jackson as well.
I thought maybe the second was a boy as well, perhaps with boys you arent as sick? Who knows!
