Topic: Baby Girl Name Help Posted: 05 May 2009 at 8:17pm |
Ok so we have the easy part sorted... the first name. Problem is we want a family middle name but it's too 'hick-like' for me (sorry if I offend anyone) so need another middle name as well.
We have Ava _________ Rae Wxxx
I'd prefer maybe a 3-syllable middle name? I really don't know. I've spent ages googling and going on baby name sites but just hoped someone would be full of ideas
Oh also we don't like really weird or unusual names, classic names that aren't too much of a fad would suit Ava better I think.
Any ideas? All are welcomed! DH isn't home much for the next 3+ months so I need to be armed with names for him to quickly choose when he gets home just before the birth lol

Hmm hard one! I agree with you about Ava Rae, even though it is very pretty.
We've picked our boys name, done that months ago. Still fighting over the girls name tho I have my heart set on one, but DH just says "it's not a name I would pick" Why can't they just say "yes, dear" and that's the end of it?!?!? lol

I love isobelle! I just think it's the cutiest name... if I'm fortunate enough to get preggo again soon and it's a girlie I will be pushing for that name... then it shortens to izzy or bell which I reckon are cute names :-) not that ya really need to shorten a middle name... I like anabelle too but dunno if you'd really want an alliteration for first and second names

bahah I had a laugh at your "hick" comment.
I often think "Oh, no! Hannah May?! A-Hyuck!"
But it's a family name, so that makes me feel better
I like Sophie
