Ella used to get them HEAPS as well when she was in my tummy....I loved feeling them. Once she was out of my tummy she continued getting them for quite a while..

I found it was quite a good way to know how far down she was and whereabouts her head (my mw couldn't believe how low she was, but I knew it was her head down there because of the hiccups).

Yeah mine are down really low, midwife said on Tuesday that his head his 2-3 engaged already. She asked me if Id felt him get hiccups and asked where I felt them.
Its a neat feeling, I got DF to put his hand there last night so he could feel them hehe, he loved it!

Yeah Harry was the same, it was gorgeous. It was good when my nieces wanted to feel him move.. "oh look, he's moving for you! He knows his big cousin is there!" lol

It's hilarious when they get them aye?!

Stock up on gripe water now just incase your baby's hiccupy in the outside world too, they don't mind hiccups but I think it prevented Michaela from falling asleep sometimes.

I second that. It is such a pian after you feed them, burp them and put them down to bed and THEN they get the hiccups and won't fall asleep (and Ellas seemed to go on for at 15 min!!!).

Sheza, slightly off topic, but Ella was the same engaged for ages and we thought she was going to come early, but luckily came right on time.

Caitlyn used to get hiccups all the time, first time it was cute, got a bit old after awhile (in utero im talking about ) -its not like i could stand on my head to get her to stop lol, then she got them when she was a baby, which yes, is rather annoying, now tho she just drinks a glass of water upside down (dont ask me why, ask her! haha)

Lol yeah when Harry first had them when he was about a day old, DH got all worried. He was like "why has he got the hiccups? How do I make them stop? I don't like him having the hiccups!" (typical protective daddy). I didn't know about gripe water, would've been good.

Daniel used to get them all the time too, and he still does.  When he was a day old he got them and we have video footage of him.  They sound so cute.  Now though he cracks them if they last too long.  This is probably naughty but I give him the boob again and they normally go.

I was just reading a book today that said what feels like hiccups is actually baby breathing! Sounds strange, I wonder if it's true!
