I know this is a dumb question but i cant think at the moment, somewhat sleep deprived. DS has a tummy bug of some sort, his bum is red raw and he screams everytime im trying to clean it with non scented wipes, is there something else i could use that might not make it hurt so much? Or just ride it out? Im putting cream on etc to help the rash but we are having to change every 20 - 30 mins at the moment...

When my kids had a raw bum like that I used to just pop them in the shower or bath to rinse it off rather than wiping.

get some nice soft muslin type cloths if you can, the normal terry flannel might scratch his poor wee bum!

Also curash do a nappy wipe....brilliant ones, real moist & real soft.

Also put some form of oil in your water to make everything just that little bit more slipery.

I cut up chux cloths - means if they are really icky I can just chuck them out, but I normally just soak them in napisan then throw them in the washing machine. I have learnt not to buy the budgo brands as they do not stand up to washing.

chux cloths with water mixed with sudo cream or calendula cream. (just enough so it's like extra slippery water)
