Could you use these inside a cover instead of a pocket nappy? like just for new bubbas that dont move a heck of a lot? like instead of a prefold in there. Ive got some super jumbo prefolds that i'm thinking of 'adusting' into smaller inserts.

it depends what they are made of. microfibre inserts cant go directly next to bubs skin but hemp or bamboo could. and prefolds definitely.

i used prefolds on my newborn, i used them with a snappi tho. theres prob pics of it in the gallery - i can do a search if you want to have a look...

i used real nappies when my boy was nb, they are pretty much a cover with prefolds in them, they just sat in the cover and i used to use other inserts in the covers when i had run out of prefolds too which worked just as well.
i would say that u could prob use the prefolds in other covers- prob just try one out and see if it works.
