Topic: bizzare boob question Posted: 28 March 2010 at 7:31pm |
wasn't sure where to put this but here we are lol
for the past week or so my boobs have been having this weird burning/tingling sensation kind of like I have rubbed anti flamme into them has anyone experienced this?
Would it just be my hormones trying to get back to normal after finishing Bfeeding (which we stopped 3 months ago)

Could be just hormones as mine were like that this month, mainly around ovulation and the week after. (I finished Bfing a few months ago),
But you could also be pregnant

I doubt it's pregnancy as I haven't even had an af back yet ....... but thats not un common for me anyway as I have PCOS and dont ovulate very often at all, and it took 2.5years of trying and fertility drugs (and giving up lol) to get pregnant with DS..... Although I guess pregnancy is not definatley ruled out as we aren't trying but not preventing....just probably highly unlikley.
Thats why I just thought it could be hormones and my body trying to get back to normal after pregnancy and bfeeding.
hmmm now it's got me wondering lol maybe if they are still feeling the same in a week or so I may test to see....but wont be surprised when there is just the one line

It's been a while since you stopped BF, otherwise I would have suggested thrush. Can you get breast thrush without BF?

not too sure about thrush with out BFing isaacsmum I'm pretty sure it's not that tho my nips are looking normal and the sensation is inside my boobs IYGWIM
LOL Sheena, Freesia and Raspberryjam I seriously doubt I'd be pregnant after everything we went through to get pregnant the first time, I just dont think it would be that easy for me (although I definatley wouldn't be complaining if it was hahaha)
I might test tomorrow if I remember

lol raspberryjam...are you trying to pressure me into testing now?? lol
I'm a shocker and if I did I would still test in the morning to make sure the result is the same haha I know i'm a weirdo, so I figure instead of wasting a test I'll just wait and use FMU
sorry Freesia I'll try and come on a bit eairler tomorrow morning
I really think it will be a big anti climax tho ladies and there will be that lonely 1 line looking back at me haha (.Y.) seem normal today so far

Possibly, but you know how we all turned into obsessed testing fanatics ... especially when it's someone else

Lol Freesia!!
well ladies as expected there was one lonely line!
So my weird (.Y.)'s must just be my hormones trying to get back to some sort of normality...not that my body really knows what that is lol
I am actually looking forward to getting an AF, I know that sounds weird but then at least I will know things may be starting up again! And there may be a chance that one day I will be able to have another baby lol but if not we are pretty lucky to have and totally happy with our one wee man!

Oh bummer! I was hoping for another surprsie like last time. Hopefully AF won't be too far away now and maybe even settle into a nice pattern once the hormones all settle. Your right though, it's such a blessing to have one little person.
