Topic: CM Question Posted: 06 March 2010 at 4:14pm |
Hello, can any of you ladies tell me what cm looks like when you first become pregnant? I should be getting my period within the next 3 days if I'm not pregnant. Today I checked my cm and it kinda looked like eggwhite cm. In a cycle when you haven't conceived your cm doesn't usually look like eggwhite at this stage right?
I tested with a discover hpt on Mon and Tues this week but BFN :( I was so stupid to burn through them in 2 days because now I can't afford to get more hpts and just have to wait for AF! Whenever there is a hpt around I'm a mad woman and can't just let it rest quietly in the drawer!
Am going to go and do something to keep myself busy and stop thinking about whether I'm preg or not! The TWW is bloody driving me nuts!

some people get EWCM when pregnant but I think creamy cm is more common... EWCM indicates an increase in estrogen... estrogen increases in pregnancy along with progesterone which can make cm more creamy... before af estrogen increases and progesterone drops making ewcm... BUT there have been many girls on here that have had ewcm and been UTD so not a very helpful way of predicting pregnancy unfortunately...
I am soooo the same with HPTs I just have to pee on them
Good Luck!!!! hope af stays away

Omig, it wasn't AF! I saw blood last nite and put in a tampon. This morning I took it out and only the tip of it had blood on it. Could be implantation bleed? I was confused because last time, with my son, I only had the tiniest of spots on my underwear for the implantation bleed. This time there was enough blood to make me think it was AF ....

ohhh exciting... definitely could be and would explain why you haven't got a pos test even using discover cos it won't be positive until after implantation... I guess it's just a waiting game now to see if af actually arrives or not... when is af actually due?

can be as early as 2 days after implantation but it can also take up to 6 days so don't give up if not pos in 3 days

Well no AF! Lots of cramps but I had lots of those when I was first UTD with DS. Got some Quickstream hpts because the chemist I went to didn't have discover and have given them to DH to look after so I don't pee on them like a mad woman. Will test on Thurs or Fri .... the suspense is killing me!
Have been really tired and only have had enough energy to look after my 11 month old and nothing else. Therefore it looks like a tsunami has ripped through my house .... Was very tired while preggy last time but I don't know if I'm tired now coz I'm preggy or because DS doesn't sleep thru the nite!

Best of luck, my fingers are crossed for you. I always find it so hard waiting to see if AF arrives or not.... hopefully this is your time, and you wont have any more waiting!

Hey I've decided to test on Thurs ... just let the HCGs build up a bit more (if that is what's happening in there!).
