Hello,
Im interested has anyone else while they have ttc out of nowhere got thrush?
Im not on medicine and am a very clean person,
I was wondering if it could be caused by something else? I have had the magic pill and just waiting for it to work but omg not a happy camper right now!!!!!
I am due for my period on the 13th March if that is important..
Thanks and Sorry

Yes, I have had thrush a few times, I think it's just one of those things. Canestan works a treat. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Both times I was pg with the boys I got thrush at about the 3-5wk mark! That was one of the signs that made me sure I was pg with Ben when I was only about 3wks

I think its one of those things, excessive use of shower gels and perfumed soaps can contribute to thrush. Can also be a change in diet, this warm weather we've had lately probably isn't helping either.

Yep, I got it a couple of days before AF showed up last cycle, first time I'd ever had it be careful if you are BDing as it can be passed back and forth that way, so even once yours has cleared up, he can pass it back to you!

The discharge is generally white and thick, and quickly turns into a cottage cheese like consistency (one of the reasons I cant even LOOK at that stuff anymore ) and an itchy/burning pain.

Canestan one is really good (I used the pessary cream) but if you use it, make sure you wear a pad for the next 24 hours (put it in just as you go to sleep for the night, then wear a pad for the next day)
