I watched a little bit of the first season and then bits and pieces of the ones in the middle, but for some strange reason I feel like I need to watch this last one. But I cannot for the life of me figure out what the heck is going on! I sit there with my eyes glued to the TV with my brain working overtime trying to make sense of it all.
Maybe closer to the end I'll figure out what is going on!

I agree soooooooo frustrating but I cant not watch... and fume and grumble and generally be confused the whole time!!!
DH and I often laugh that watching LOST is not an enjoyable hour of our lives ha ha but we subject ourselves to it week after week.
Kinda glad its coming to an end, I need some closure, however I hear they leave loads of things up in the air

LOL I agree!
We're only two weeks behind the US, so they haven't screened it all, I hope they don't leave stuff in the air. That would piss me off
I love it though, I have to get DH to explain a few things to me though

Argh I can't believe I'm still watching it. So annoyed that last night it was still introducing more confusing things rather than clearing them up.
Time travel was one thing, but what the hell is this whole people coming back from the dead thing, and what/who the hell is Jacob! As for the whole John Locke thing

I LOVE it! Lost is my all time fave programme. It is cool how something major happens every episode which usually leaves me going "oh my god" which my DH (who gave up watching it after season 2) finds hilarious.
I hope the final ties everything up and completely explains everything otherwise I am going to be majorily pi$$ed off.

I love it too and keeping up with all the twists and turns is fantastic - I didn't realise when they blew up the hatch in 1977 in transported them back to the present - didn't really get that.
I've watched every episode from the beginning its awesome and has some of the hottest people on TV.

Technically it hasn't been years though - its only been about 6 months or less than a year as it took 40 days to get rescued off the island and then how ever long they were there from the second plane crash.

It wasn't too confusing last night, until Clare re-appeared... I missed the bit where she went missing in the first place - can someone recap for me?

From what I recall from the last season, Clare disappeared into the jungle at some point and when we saw her again in the last season, she was in 'the cabin' with her Dad and she'd left her baby Aaron with Kate, as Kate was leaving the island.

The whole darkness thing in Sayid was too weird, and then telling Jack it happend to his sister. Then we have to wait an episode to find out what happens with that story line as next week its all about imposter Locke
