Topic: offically TTC no2 Posted: 06 December 2006 at 8:50am |
Okay so we are officially starting to TTC for no2...part of me is kinda hoping that for xmas day i can tell Kent i am pregnant as i will be 2 days overdue for my AF and thats when i tested with Rhiannon....time will tell though, and im not getting my hopes up, but it would be nice.
So every 2 days for how long? TMI but we did it on monday so will be doing it tonight...hahaha hmmm one thinks that she needs to know when she is at that time but not to be pedantic(sp) about it or it just wont happen

I think i went from two days prior to ovulation day, then ovulation day and then two days after so if you ovulate on the 5th for example you would do it on the 3rd, 5th and 7th.
good luck

hehe - I think I went for monster because that's what will hopefully be growing inside me soon (if not already - fingers crossed)
I'm so hopeless at this waiting game I hate to think how bad i'll be as the months go by.
I guess you'll know what symptoms to look out for this time too, that's got to be an advantage in terms of reducing stressful anticipation!

actually it makes it worse...as ive discovered that my body has gotten reall sensitive since my miscarried almost 3mths ago...and now from about 13days before AF is due i get all the symptoms of being pregnant, but now that i know that i just ignore them until the date af is due.
so when will you know?
how long you been trying for?

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage - that must make the whole process a lot harder for you - feelings-wise that is. I guess it helps in some way that you know how your body works each month.
We're going to see if we can test tomorrow. I keep getting my hopes up, but am also trying not to be unrealistic. We haven't been trying long at all so the testing time is a rough estimate - I've come off the pill so have no cycle dates yet. I'm getting loads of symptoms, none of which I remember having before a period in my pre-pill days (and i'm pretty sure i'd remember them if i did).
If it's a BFN then I guess i'll just watch what's happening with my body and test again in another week or two (unless AF turns up). Oh, and i'll probably have a little sook and moan a lot

Oh, Kazzle I hope that's not the case, but I guess you're the one in the know!
I got a BFN and then a couple of days later my first AF after nearly ten years on the pill. Very, very unpleasant. They always were... but the symptoms beforehand were all over the show - nothing like I used to get - sore breasts (and they're bigger too!?!), fluttery stomach, metallic taste. I guess my body is just sorting itself out.
But I did have some wine to commiserate, so it wasn't all bad

Periods after the pill are quite different, aren't they? My doctor said that the difference is natural vs articifual hormones, which does make perfect sense, but still ...How *rude*!
Kazzle ...I know it is a little hollow when I'm sure you're disappointed at AF building up, but I try to think of AF as a new beginning and a new chance to start my family. It keeps me sane. Plus, it's about the only time I am ever a 'glass half full' person!!

Oh, and *seriously*, buying yourself a pressie (big or small - whatever you like!) when AF arrives, or you're certain it's about to, is also a good way to lift your spirits
Mind you, this month I've booked myself a bikini wax ...I'm not entirely sure *that* was a good idea. I chucked it in my diary for the end of the month, and a few days later I did a quick day count and found that I had booked it for the day AF is due, not the day before as I'd thought!! AARRGGH! Perhaps the pain of the wax will distract me from cramps ...it *could* work ....
