DS got a couple of little splinters in his knee yesterday after his was allowed to play on some bark.

They don't seem to be bothering him, he is still crawling on that knee.

Should I try and take them out, if so how? or should I just leave them?

really? thats a good one to try. Our boys get them ALL the time off our deck. Tiny little ones dont seem to bother them and eventually work their way out. Big ones are a different story and Tom gets so worked up when he has one at the mere thought of us removing it.

Oli gets small ones from our deck sometimes too - I normally hold a warm / hot flannel on it for a while and that seems to draw it out enough that I can get it with the tweezers. He actually thinks its a great game tryint to get them with tweezers!
