My 1 year old DD has tiny little white spots on her tongue, they look like the tastebud is swollen, much like when you have an ulcer, there are about 10 - 20 of them on the front half of her tongue at the moment.
On Friday there were a whole lot on the left side of her tongue and she was very grizzly when she went to bed and we ended up taking her to the after hours doc they said it was a virus and there was nothing that we could do except pamol etc. the next morning they were gone. Then again they are back today. The only thing I can think of is that she had her toothbrush with a tiny bit of baby toothpaste on it today and friday but not yesterday? Could she be allergic to the toothpaste?
She also sucks on her blanky but always has, but then I wonder if its the washing powder (Persil Sensitive) I change her blanky everyday to a clean dry one.
Oh DD has had no high temperature and no other symptoms of a cold or virus but I think that she is teething.
How weird, Rhys had one spot on the front of his tongue yesterday and he was quite clingy and grizzly too. I didn't get a chance to check him this morning, but he's at home with daddy today as they're on holiday. Rhys is going to the dr on wednesday, just for a check-up, so I will find out what she says.
