my waters had just broken all over the floor and my feet in the TV room of the old nat womens hospital in greenlane...

My baby is three today and i feel very teary eyed about it all. He has come so far and i love him so much.

We filled his room with balloons last night and when he came into our room this morning he was excited. He opened his pressie then at 7.30 as he saw it in our room. It was a Magnadoodle and he loved it.

I made his cake last night... here tis:




three years ago today he wasnt born till 11pm, and about now i was being wheeled down to the delivery suite to have drugs pumped into me to get labour going.

Well done on the cake.... I love the idea of the balloons! I have a 3yo birthday coming up too, she sure is growing up fast and I'm looking forward to actually having a party she will remember this time lol (since 2yo's only just start remembering "last week") ... and she was born at 10.40pm - what is it with babies and the middle of the night!?!?

ok...so you made the cake!!! Duh!!!

I was like that tooo Deb...I asked Atish to wake me up at 4.21 am so that I can kiss Zaara happy birthday!! And we did wake up and kissed her....before that we sat there talking about what was going on right then a year ago.

I guess even after three years these things still linger(sp??) in your mind huh??!!

So thats where all the balloons came from - great idea! And the cake was even better in real life...

I light Maya's christening candle at 8.11am on her birthday every year which is when she was born. Will do the same for the gremlins - but will have to be quick getting Sienna's one done and dusted before it's time to do Mercedes!
