Topic: I, the Ginger, have a plan! Posted: 02 November 2006 at 10:18am |
Yes, I do! My plan is to be pregnant by Christmas.
Of course, that was also my plan *last* year, but I won't mention it if you don't mention it!
So, cycle 18 ...
I've started charting again, from day 1 of AF, and I'll think about whether to post the chart on FF or not. I have no idea how, but if I decide to, I'll work it out.
I'm also going to try and chart my CM so that I have an idea how that correlates to my temps.
I'll use OPKs next cycle.
I'm also taking liquid herbs internally 2-3ml twice a day to help things along. This is what's in them, with a very basic idea of what they're for:
Shatavari - Rejuvinating reproductive organs & infertility 80/200ml
Chaste - Normalise menstruation 20/200ml
Withania - For calming the nervous system, and diseases which produce inflammation 50/200ml
Damiana - General tonic for hormone related conditions, also thought to be an aphrodisiac, and used for anti-anxiety 30/200ml
Licorice - to help it taste a bit better, and used as an expectorant 20/200ml
Now, it tastes *disgusting* (ergo. the licorice does *not* work for that purpose at all!)...but whatever it takes, right? Those figures at the end are to show how many ml of the 200ml bottle the components make up.
I think that's about it for now ...
Oh, adn one other thing! I'm also treating myself. This weekend I am getting a skin analysis and facial at the place where I get my hair etc done, and next weekend I'm getting a hair cut. It's little things that give me something to look forward to in amongst all this other stuff
And that's the plan!

I agree with the licqorice, I had a concoction as well and they said that it would make it taste better, but I think it made it taste worse, blah. It would be helpful if liquid herbs tasted a bit better.
All the best Ginger. Are you Ginger cos you have red hair?

make sure you add in drinking robitusson cough mixture (the stuff with the "G" ingrediant) and 70% cocoa mass chocolate - the dark stuff.
Good luck ginger, hope it works for you. will cross my fingers, but not my legs for a special xmas present

Thanks everyone for your support I'll keep you posted
I've got my chart on Fertility Friend also ...I'm not sure how you view it, but my nickname is GingeRRR if that helps. It's a pretty straight forward chart though at this stage. Dipped day 1, and is picking up days 2 and 3.

Jess - OK ...it'll have my homepage address in where? Is that so you can see my chart?
Thanks everyone else for your good wishes. I'm feeling very much geared up for my period (due at the end of the week), and I don't see anything interesting in my chart to suggest otherwise. But, hopefully one of these months soon, it'll all change I've been really lucky this month - I had terrible pains in the couple of days before ovulation, but I haven't really had anything since. I had a few cramps early this morning, and I wasn't feeling too good late last week - a bit queezy and ...they weren't really cramps, just this funny yucky sensation. But, the queezy thing is normal for this time of the month for me, so don't go getting all excited everyone!

Right. All done. Hopefully it's all done right since I didn't have a clue what all the stuff on the page meant ...(I'm a computer non-genius).
The homepage address is in my profile.

Oh, good on you for having a look!
What's a fallback rise?
I'm quite pleased that it's all looking quite good on the charting front. I'm only going to chart this month, and then take a break for a few months, until early next year. I just want to forget about TTC over Christmas/New Year. I can't believe that at the end of this cycle I'll be over the 18 months TTC mark ...it seems very unreal.
