Hi there
Sorry if I'm coming across a bit paranoid but being first time and having a previous mc I just thought I would ask

I have been getting lots of pulling sensations and very light crampy feelings almost like getting the stitch but not as painful. They come and go but have been getting them all day.
I guess I just want to know if this is normal or is it too early for feeling the ligaments and uterus stretching......I've just gone 5 weeks.

Got Dr appt tomorrow so will tell her whats been happening but I'm hoping its just normal pregnancy stuff

Hi Buttersmum, First of all congratulations on your pregnancy and sending lots of sticky vibes! Everything you are describing is normal, I had bad stretching pains and cramps from before AF was due and trust me they wont be the only pains you get Try searching the pregnancy threads for cramps early pregnancy, stretching pains etc you will find quite a few different threads about them I'm sure or even look at the start of some of the other due threads and I guarentee at least one person will have asked about them.

Good luck hun

Sounds pretty normal to me! I def had the stretchy pulling feeling and light cramps, almost like AF was on her way. My gp was very unhelpful about it actually, she gave me the "25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage" talk which freaked me out, but the girls on ohbaby were very reassuring.

I agree with the other posts. I had cramps just like AF was comming right up to about 6 weeks.
Asked both my GP and MW with the same it's perfectly normal answer.

Yeah I had cramping here too. Actually didn't test for a few extra days as I was convinced AF was coming. I found it came and went a lot in the first trimester

Thanks for your responses ladies........very reassuring.
I saw my dr and booked midwife today who both said very normal as long as you don't need pain relief, double over, take your breath away or bleeding...........which no I'm not so I'm much more relaxed about it now
Just being a nervous first timer haha
