Yes there is caffeine in tea, and it's perfectly safe to have 1 or 2 a day.

yep there is caffine in tea, a couple cups a day isn't a problem. you could always substitute for herbal tea if you are concerned, thats what I've done.

I drank tea during both my pregnancies...i found it was the only hot drink i could drink without throwing it back up.

I only had 2-3 though.

Im not a coffee drinker at all, and i dont tend to drink tea unless im pregnant.

I bought the Dilmah decaffeinated teabags and they taste just like any other decent teabag, so you could try that if you're worried. A couple of cups of regular tea wouldn't hurt but I wanted to avoid caffeine as much as possible and I'm still buying them now.

Tea won't be problem, while there is in fact more caffeine in tea than coffee our bodies can't absorb it as well as it does from coffee...interesting fact for the day for ya.

you can have up to 300 milligrams of caffiene a day whilst pregnant so several cups of tea won't hurt.

The only thing I found when I was drinking tea regularly (I've since gone off it lol funny pregnancy thing I guess) was that I needed to make extra sure I drunk my water since tea is a diuretic and I got dehydrated extra quick.
