Seriously! They are SO SO SO SO SO itchy it's just not funny.

I don't remember this from last time!

My midwife prescribed me some pimafucort cream which is a weak hydrocortisone cream and I have put it on but they are still really itchy.

Nowhere else is itchy.

Does anyone else have horribly itchy nipples?

Mine get itchy sometimes too, but it usually goes away again. Bloody annoying though. lol. The things us woman have to put up with!

Maybe some other kind of cream might help.

ETA: What about Lansinoh cream from the supermarket? I've heard that's good.

I've had them occasionally. Totally socially unacceptable place to itch too, isn't it

Mine never lasted more than a day or two at a time, but man its annoying! I've found a shower sometimes helps, otherwise I just try and distract myself as best I can. I can sympathise fully though.

Yup, I've been getting this too, I've found either showering, taking my bra off or using Lanolin cream helps.

Yep have this on and off too - annoying and very tricky to itch whilst at work!

Is Lanolin cream the stuff you can apply to your nipples while breastfeeding too (and its safe for bubs) or am I thinking of something else?

Isn't hydrocortisone a bad idea if you have Reynauds? It's a steroid cream, isn't it?

Yes I have had this since very early pregnancy, and I must get some type of eczema on them cos they've cracked and they weep... makes for very gross bras

I keep thinking I should try purelan, the breastfeeding stuff I used with Harry - have hydrocortizone but am apprehensive to use it on nipples cos I know it can make the skin thinner, and don't want to risk that on breastfeeding nipples that will put up with enough once bubs is here

Mama to DS1 (5 years), DS2 (3 years) and...

I've had itchy nipples since about a week after conception. They are itchy, dry, flaky and weepy. I use XMA Ease (steroid free) then Invisible Glove over top as a barrier cream. This stops them from itching during the day. They only itch when I take my bra off at the end of the day and in the morning before my shower. I put these 2 creams on once in the morning after my shower then once at night when I go to bed.
