Topic: pgs close together Posted: 16 September 2009 at 4:13pm |
well, they arent too close together. but i was wondering if any of you that had pregnanies close together found anything different with your 2nd? did you have any more problems than you did first time around? did you have to eat better 2nd time cos you lost vitamens? does it put more stress on your body? etc...

mine arent anywhere near as close as yours... ! congrats:) I have found this time way more tiring and way more aches and pains..but you might not find it too bad as Mack isn't a crazy toddler... does he sleep through the night?

Ohh ditto to this!
This time my iron was TERRIBLE, I ended up being admitted to hospital at 36 weeks for an Iron Infusion, not very pleasant!
And my tummy muscles have seperated a bit or something, it was a bit tender in places once I got really big. I just need to wear a tummy band thingy to make them fuse back together.
Congrats on the pregnancy

I think just expect anything that ached last time to ache a bit earlier this time
Congrats on your pregnancy, can't believe you had the energy to make another one with everything else you are doing.

Congratulations
I dont really have much advice either. Although the first 6 weeks might be hard, it would be so rewarding for your children to have each other so close in age.

Hi, congratulations!
I got pregnant the 2nd time round when no. 1 was 10mths old and am pregnant again, we concieved when no.2 was 5mths old. You will need to watch all your vitamin stores but especially your iron as most of the other ladies have mentioned. You'll be so much more tired this time than before but you'll also be so busy you won't have time to obsess about each part of your pregnancy - makes it go a lot faster! My only advice is to rest as much as you can (ha! I mean if you can) and do your pelvic floor exercises!!!

Congratulations!
Mine weren't too close together either, got pregnant when Jack was about 10 or 11 months old I think but I noticed the m/s was a lot worse because I couldn't take the time in the mornings to ease myself out of bed etc. Also got really tired and yeah, iron stores were low too but mainly because I wasn't eating ANYTHING let alone eating well.
Hope it all goes well, you'll love the age gap down the track (maybe not so much in the first wee while )
