Topic: Lovely new nappies!! *pics incl* Posted: 11 August 2009 at 1:49pm |
I hope no-one minds but I just wanted to show off these lovely new nappies I received in the post this week!! They're soooo cute and really soft & squishy
My favourite is the 'pears' nappy, which is lined with organic bamboo velour - the softest, silkiest lining I've ever felt!!

Oh the elephants are just so cute. What brand is this?
I just recieved some large itti's and am very happy with them. I only have itti's but when I see cute nappies like above I am tempted to mix it up a little.

They're Muttaqin fitted nappies from the USA. They're made by a WAHM there - she uses such beautiful fabrics! I am also an Itti Bitti girl, but mix them up with these fitted nappies & wool longies over top. They fit just like an Itti

How many $$$ do you need? I imagine its not cheap tho.... How absorbent are they Vic? Are you using them as night nappies?

With the exchange rate & free shipping they work out to be about the same as an Itti Bitti, but of course shipping is included in that price.
They're made from cotton & bamboo so get more absorbent with washing. After a half a dozen washes the first ones I bought are now as absorbent as an Itti Bitti. I boost them with an Itti mini bamboo booster just to be on the safe side. They come with a double-layer bamboo & velour insert that snaps in and out for washing so are really quick to dry.
They're a daytime fitted nappy as they're lovely & trim! Not at all bulky like traditional fitted nappies. I just love them

She sells sized and OSFA nappies. The pears nappy in the pic is a OSFA (although she calls them 3SR - 3 Snap Rise) but the others are Medium Front Snap (she also sells side snap).

I've not had a leak yet! They have really soft stretchy leg & back elastic so you get a good snug fit.
