Hi ladies, I'm currently TTC#2 & was wondering if anyone is using Emma Blackwell as their midwife?????? She was my m/w with Gaby & I'd love to use her again, BUT I looked on the website of the pracitce she worked for when I was pregnant with Gab (Whanau Mai) - but her name isn't listed anymore... and I can't find any details for her online...

Does anyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyone know if she's still in Christchurch, and if so, who she is working for?????

No idea. I suggest you ring Whanau Mai and ask them as they will know where she is or have contact details for her.

Otherwise, I'm using Jacqui Newell at Whanau Mai and she's lovely :)

I rang the 0800 mum2be back on the 28th June and they printed off a list of midwifes. unfortunately she isn't on this list I have.

maybe try the number listed above and talk to her directly?

thanks ladies... I might contact Whanau Mai & go through one of their other midwives - I really liked their philosophy etc :) I had Raewyn as my backup m/w with Gaby, and saw Rene Puru when I was pregnant before Gaby & had a m/c (Emma was on leave so I had to have a backup)..
