Hmm that's a hard one! I guess if you've never had one it would be cool. Although I don't like the idea of throwing one yourself, so hint to someone lol
We had a boy first time and a girl this time, I'm not having a baby shower (had one first time round though) as there's too much going on (my sis was going to organise a get-together). Now I'm just going to get the girls together and go out for dessert

I am planning on having one for this baby, I had one for Melissa but not for Cam.
I think that if you want one then you should have one!!

I say go for it too, since you didn't have one with either of the boys.
I'm not having one this time but will hopefully go out for dinner with a few friends

As the others have said, go for it. I helped throw a baby shower for a friend who was pg with her 2nd as she never had one with her first. I found this for the invites which I thought was nice:
Pins, Nappies, Bottles Galore
Mother's name and Father's name are having one more
Big brother/sister child's name has plenty to share
This is only a "sprinkle" to show that we care
Please join us to celebrate before baby is due
We still do not know if it will be pink or blue

That's a really nice invite.
I agree with the others - if you haven't had one before then I think it's fine.
