Does anyone have one of the following baby carriers?

Baby Bjorn (Synergy or Active)
Ergo Baby carrier
Hugabub
or if anyone has another suggestion, I would love to hear your suggestions

If you do have one of the above what do you think, pro v's cons.
I am doing a lot of International travel with my baby and I need to have my hands free but also something that I can wear on the plane in comfort. It also has to be just perfect for bubs, easy to get on in small space.

i have an ergo, my husband loves it. for a newborn tho i used a meitai carrrier in a front carry and i loved that... check out slingbabies they have some great info

I have an Ergo and I it. My husband wears it too. We bought the infant insert and used it from pretty early on although C was too small for the first 6 weeks or so and I kind of wish we'd got a Moby for that.

We've flown a few times (international) with C already and the Ergo has been perfect. Super comfy and easy to use without any help. I've had to take C out on the flights we've been on (and strap him to me with the infant belt) but I haven't found it too hard getting him back into it again when I need to - even when sitting in a window seat on a Tiger Airways plane

I have friends with the Baby Bjorn and the main problem they seem to have is bubs getting too big to carry comfortably for any length of time - at 8 months!

I have an Ergo (which I bought) and a Baby Bjorn (which I was given) and the Ergo is way better... the Baby Bjorn was good for those very early days (which it looks like you have passed, anyway) - and it's easier to get on - but it very quickly became really hard on the back. Where as the Ergo takes the weight off the shoulders and puts it around the waist. I am still carrying Clara in the front position and she is a good 11kg+ one year old!

As I said the BB is easier to get on but we did a lot of travel (includ internationally) with the Ergo and had no problems getting it on in a small space. It helps to have a partner to clip it in (with the Ergo) but I usually don't, and if you do get stuck for some reason I'm sure someone will help.

I read heaps and heaps about baby carriers before purchasing the Ergo, and the reviews indicated that the Ergo is the best structured baby carrier on the market.

Hi,

Another vote for the ERGO......we only bought ours when DS2 was about 9 months old but he's spent sooooooooooo much time in it and even now he's walking he is happy to be in it and I can wear it for ages. DP likes it too and I like that he can be on my back so when I am say cooking he can still be close to me but be away from the danger. He never slept except in bed but it was so comfy he'd sleep in it if we were out long enough.

I have 2 different carriers. A normal front soft fabric front pack, and a hugabub and I can tell you that the hugabub is the easiest to put on, the most comfortable to wear, it is very versitile and can fit everyone, baby can sleep in it with their head covered and protected. It is completely hands free, with my other pack I always feel like I can't bend down and that I have to have one hand on baby's head. And it grows with the baby, other frontpacks get to short or too small quite quickly. The other thing is that it is only like wearing an extra layer of clothing, so you can dress the baby for the weather and they don't get too hot or cold.
I'm definately a convert!
