This is a very sensitive topic for me to bring up in here.......but i know i will get honest helpful and not judgemental comments.

and before i explain..........NO ITS NOT AN INFECTION as i had this with my 2nd pregnancy also and have read its not completely uncommon due to hormone changing PH balance and its not a cleanliness thing!!!!!

With my 2nd pregnancy i developed a very strong musky feminine odor and no matter how many times a day i would wash it would be right back.......so far i thought i wasnt going to get it this time around...........but alas its started again.....my DH has also noticed, so its not just my sensitive nose!!

my question is, has anyone suffered this also and did you discover any home remedies?? such as trying non perfumed soap.......or natural yoghurt??
I desperately dont want to go through my whole pregnancy with this again..........i feel like crying, as if i dont have enough problems, i dont want to be pongy as well!!!!
I am trying non perfumed liners at the moment and changing them a couple of times a day.

feel free to PM me if you dont want to post publicly..........
i wouldntve either but couldnt find much doing a google search

I know liquid chlorophyll helps with body odours but I do not know if it's safe to use in pregnancy.

I know it works as I use the human stuff on my dog when she is in heat.

hugs hun!

Hey Lou. I have this problem too although it may just be my sensitive nose caus DP hasn't said anything...yet.

I haven't really tried anything specifically myself but I know a product called "Nil Odor" is excellent for killing of any smell other than itself.
We have used it on our dogs when they are in heat (hideous comparison I know...so sorry), but once they have that on the boys show no interest in the girls cause they can't smell it.

You can buy it from most vet clinics...sorry again, not a nice thought.

I would go buy a bottle (between 7 and 10 dollars) and you would only need to put 2-3 drops of it on your panty liner I would say.

I might have this problem I dunno, I think I do but don't know what to do about it. Being home alot I tend to go with out underwear majority of the time anyways so dunno if that has helped.

But I seriously feel like no deodorants work for me during this pregnancy. I normally use mitchum cos I have bad odour anyways and nothing works but while I have been pregnant I feel like it has gotten worse and it takes me to put on a roll on antipersperant and then another one, and then will top up during the day with rexona spray. Not cool!

I know slightly off subject

I had this, from about the same stage. Never thought to do anything about it. It disappeared after Jake was born.

Would love to know if you find a fix, next time round it would be nice to not smell!

I have had a different odour too- and its worse if I wear nylon or synthetic underwear.

Cotton underwear seems to be OK, but I do have to change them during the day sometimes.

I think its normal- but thanks for the liners tip! They sound great.
