Sorry if this has already been asked...

I've just shifted to Auckland, and just recently found out I'm due in early December! Its fantastic but getting a bit worried, I know this is getting really late to be looking for a midwife and I would really appreciate if there are any recommendations to get me started.

Thanks so much !

Congrats on your pregnancy

Where in Auckland are you? I am using The Midwives in Green Bay Ph 825 0333 and they are great. The are 8 mw there, I am using Glenda but I know family and friends have used Kirsten, Terri, Melissa and Carly and have been really happy.

I'm using a collective in Auckland central.

You can also use the hosiptal mws main difference is that you will be seeing a clinical mw for appointments but you will have anyone who is on duty at the time to deliver your baby. If your comfortable with that then its a perfectly fine way to do it!

I'm using the birthcare midwife team in Parnell, they are really nice and we are very natural and want a water birth and no drugs etc and they are fine with accommodating our needs
