I am just wondering, when should I expect a temp drop if I am not pregnant, and exactly what happens if I am pregnant? This is my first month, and although I couldn't detect ovulation by my temps the post O temps seem to look really good.
Any info greatly appreciated

If you have a "normal" phase of 14 days inbetween ovulation and your period then the temp drop normally happens on the 13th, 14th or even 15th day followed by AF (aunt flow) Do you have a link to your chart? Or is it on paper?
Im not trying to sound mean but just because ur temps are high now doesnt necessarily mean anything apart from either a good strong ovulation that produced lots of progesterone to make ur temps high, or pregnancy. If your pregnant generally the temps wont dive due to the increasing progesterone being created to support the baby.
I have attached a link to my charts for you to look at comparing non preggo charts and my preggo chart (dont take to much note of the ovulation days coz the preggo chart was with clomid and the others werent) Oh and i had some really screwy leutal phases lol
My Charts
I hope that helps

I'm no expert but i reckon your chart shows you are pregnant, it is almost identical to Jessicas.

well in that case... my tempt today was taken 1 hour early, as I couldn't sleep so just decided to get up so obviously took my temp as well. Not sure how much of a difference it makes though..

Ok, a question for all you Charting Experts out there.
I have been temping this month, but i have the habit of getting up in the night to go pee, anywhere between 3.30 and 5am - will this affect the temps i am charting? I usually take temp between 6.30 and 7am.

Well I am no expert, but everything I have read says that temps should be taken after 3 hours of sleep. So if you are not getting enough sleep between getting up for the loo, then waking up to take your temp, you might not be getting accurate results?

Ive charted for quite some time, my advice would be to change your test time, if your always waking to pee take it then, one hour difference doesnt make a heck of alot of change in temp as opposed to not geting 3 hours sleep, get what I mean?
Glad to help as much as I can :)

Well I chart with FF & I get up & pee at least once if not twice during the night & my temps turn out fine. they say to have a minimum of 3 hrs sleep but also suggest that you dont temp in the middle of the night as that will not give you an accurate result. Ive been temping for over a year now - though I sure dont count myself as an expert as im always learning new things Ive just done alot of research in my spare time to try & figure out whats going on with me.
Congrats Sarahbeth hope you have a great pregnancy!!

My best piece of advice would be dont drink anything after 7pm, that should help with the midnight peeing lol otherwise use the temp adjuster on FF if u have taken it earlier and its only once off but if u find ur waking regularly at 5am move ur temp time to then

I took my temperature yesterday morning when i got up to pee, then again when i got up for good and the temperatre was the no different, from memory this has happened a couple of other times too (could be due to the toilet being only 5 paces from my bed - not up for long). I also sleep with my mouth open so that adds another factor into it.
Will pay closer attention to timing of temperature next cycle, i know that doesn't help with getting a clear picture - but is the best i can do. I haven't been filling in the time of my temperature, just really FF to record temp.
Thanks for your advice.
