i got a similar thing around the 35 week mark too but not that bad, if i curled over the pain eased a bit. does heat or cold help at all? and it is worse if you stand up/move quickly? if you can find what triggers it maybe you can reduce the pain. sory not much help

I had this when pregnant with Caden, I sat there and clutched my side and cried my eyes out, It was so damn painful I thought I was gonna split in two!
It was that awful round ligament pain! The only thing that seemed to help was a bit of panadol and heat sack where it was hurting until it passed.

Have you eaten anything particular prior to these pains?

They sound like the pains I used to get after eating bread except the condition I have which causes the pains is not pregnancy related (but it can be triggered by pregnancy).

i think your a bit late for this to be a problem. I had sharp stabing constant pain that started at about 20wks and it was kidney dilatation. My DS was sitting or lying or pushing (doing something) on my kidneys. Even if it is that though they cant do anything about it other than give you pain meds. It all cleared up after bubs was born. Hope you feel better soon hun

I had it later in pregnancy, it was Caden having a growth spurt and thats what caused the ligament pain. Stitchy pain is usually to do with ligaments.

You could always go and see your GP, but it sounds JUST like what I had.

Bumped my old thread for you to have a read of hun.

yeah id say its the ligament thing Sheena bcos it sounds exactly like what you had (in your other thread).

When i saw MW about it last time she ruled out all the organ probs bcos the pain was on my left side. Its now on my right but feels exactly the same.

ssoooooooooooo painful!!
