Hey all, my tummy bump seems to have been a little tender for a couple of days now, im not sure why and jsut want to know is this because of growing and streching and moving organs round or should i call the midwife? It sort of feels lightly brusied....

Also i havent felt bubs kick as much as i had been, im not sure if this is cos i have just been too busy this weekend, if baby is just too tiny to feel regular kicks or again should i call the midwife?

TIA

Is it at the bottom of your bump Hannah? As mine has been too. I have just put it down to growing and things moving around - the doc never said anything about it last night.

Hehe I did ask the doc about it as I hadn't felt the twin on the left (the smaller one) move for a couple of days and wondered if it was related, but nah, all good. And of course, once my tests came back ok and I went back to DH's ward then the booting started (mind you I had drunk 2 cups of icy cold water as well).

I have just started feeling like this quite low in my belly, and its annoying while trying to stand up off chair or turning around in bed. Feels bruised on the inside also.

I asked my MW about this last Thurs and she said it was quite common to start feeling bit tender.

I was paranoid Friday night as there wasn't any kicking (usually its full on) so I stayed up most of the night poking and prodding haha, she didn't start kicking til dad came home and was rubbing and talking to my belly!!! random.

JoleneandJustin - I was the same a couple of nights ago.....poking and prodding until I made my tummy all red!!! As soon as I relaxed about not feeling anything bubs had a party and then I got worried about how much movement I was feeling.
