I'm nearly eight weeks pregnant and I've been feeling really cold. Has anyone else had this? should I get it checked out?

I'm 7 weeks and I have been feeling quite cold at times too.

I just put it down to one of the things your body goes through when pg.

I always felt cold until about a week ago - just put it down to various pg things. My MW never said anything when I mentioned it to her, so I guess it must be normal!!

I've been feeling a bit cold at times too. I think it's when it's accompanied with fever or other flu symptoms that you should get it checked out (from what I've been reading about the illnesses to watch out for).

I've been so cold that I've been going to bed with the electric blanket on (a big no no I know but so is not sleeping becasue you're shivering ) I'm also sitting her in my lovely warm cardi and ugg boots - such a hottie

I felt the cold the whole way through my last pregnancy too and felt very cheated out of not having my personal central heating in the middle of July LOL

Do they not suggest electric blankets when you're pregnant? Forgive my ignorance!!

I was always quite warm when pregnant - I couldn't stand going to work as another lady had to have the heater on full and a second one wrapped around her legs it just about drove me mad (small, small office space).   Sorry I don't know about the electric blanket thing - we live in Dunedin and I wasn't going to bed without it on!

Electric blanket thing is a risk of over heating. I just leave mine on setting 3 (out of 10) to take the chill away.
I had it on 6 the winter months leading up to having Caitlin and she certainly wasn't over cooked
