Topic: When did your symptoms kick in? Posted: 04 March 2009 at 6:04pm |
Just curious to find out, when did your MS and other preg symptoms kick in?
Apart from being extra hungry, a bit grouchy and a bit tired, I am feeling fine. I know I had MS between 6-10 weeks with DD - am I getting too hopeful that maybe it might pass me by? (Yeah, prolly wishful thinking).

I am 28 weeks with number one. I didnt get any MS. However for the 1st trimester I was extremely tired and hormonal and sore up top!. The tiredness lessened during the second trimester (so I was able to resume working out at the gym) but the hormones still hung around
I too was hungry from the start - in fact ravenous! This wore off during the 2nd trimester. Now I am entering trimester 3 I am definitely starting to slow down again.

I never changed my eating habits. I ate the same pregnant as before. I had no weird cravings and didn't feel the need to gorge 24/7 however I had extreme MS from 7 weeks until around 4 months, but with twins that's one of the big signs. I also had pretty extreme mood swings from start to finish. In fact I still have them now hehe.

my ms started the week before AF was due (I know lucky me) but I've felt pretty good today so maybe I'll get to have a rest.
I have noticed that every pg is different so you never know you still may not get ms one can hope anyway

Ditto for me too! First trimester the ms and spewing etc started about 6/7 weeks and carried on until about 16/17 weeks... This last trimester it's been mainly nausea and then just tiredness throughout the whole pg.
Hope you don't get ms again!

Thanks peeps. I am just starting to get worried because of the lack of symptoms, I would feel a lot more confident if I had some (although in saying that I know its gonna be just awful when it does it). I know its still very early days and this morning I was feeling a bit more nauseous until I had breakfast. I am just feeling so paranoid about it all.

I am with you CuriousG. I am little over 7 weeks now and apart from the tiredness and being a little sensitive and heavier up top I have not been sick a day. I am counting my blessings and heres to hoping it lasts.

CuriousG, I felt a bit seedy off fand on for the last week or so but last 2 days have felt fine, so I was wondering if I'm going to get through without being very sick or whether it's the calm before the storm!

I have been assured by many that its ok so I am going to rest easy. Its just unnerving having no symptoms yet. Today though, I have been tired as and a bit seedy but a frozen coke from Macca's solved that

I'm 11 weeks now and haven't thrown up at all. Get nauseous unless I snack constantly, but that's it. I just think of myself as lucky - they say twice as bad with twins, so I got off lightly!! I am tired though, and have VERY sore boobs.

I was similar - nausea kicked in at around 7 weeks. I didn't actually throw up until weeks 10 through to 13 though.
But I did have sore boobs right from the beginning.
ETA - OMG Kate! You're getting married TOMORROW! Holy crap! Good luck

I am tired as now and before breakfast I feel rotten but as long as I eat I seem to be ok. I have sore boobs as well (have done since before AF was due)
Funnily enough, I am not that tired at night which is a total change for me - its during the day I feel knackered!
