With both pg I have had excess phlem which sits at the back of my throat and is hard to clear (sorry TMI!!)
I assume that it has something to do with my immune system not quite working at 100% due to being pg

Ohhh yeah as disgusting as this is hehe I used to always get mega hard boogers. I would wake up every couple of hours in the night due to bladder pressure and have to get a tissue to get out all the nose gold. Oh and I had to drink CONSTANTLY due to my dry mouth.
Its funny you so forget these little things that seemed so big at the time. It makes me laugh now to think of all the things that drove me nuts during pregnancy.

Yep, congestion in pregnancy is normal, mine is worst in the first trimester then I get it on and off throughout the rest of the pregnancy.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but I was the queen snot monster for the first 20 or so weeks of my pregnancy....................and I'm having a boy. Its kicked in again the last two weeks, I could take out shares in a tissue company and drink all the water in the tap, drives me nuts!!

I feel congested all the time, but there's hardly anything actually in there. And trust me, I've looked!

Oh MY, I could have written this post. I had a flu 10 days ago and thought I was just still blocked up from that. And the dry mouth/through thing at night....starts for me as soon as I go to bed and lasts through the night. We have just moved into a new house and was starting to think the past owner was a smoker....but maybe it's just a pregnancy thing.
On friday nigth it was real bad- between 11pm and 8 am I went through two pump bottles of water and was up for the toilet 6 times. NOT COOL.

I have this problem aswell, I have bad hayfever this time and cant take anything for it, and I wake up at like 2-3am every morning with a blocked nose and dry throat and mouth
I take a box of tissues to bed and a glass of water, or my water bottle.

I had horrible congestion around weeks 10-13. Absolutely hideous! Couldn't breathe at night or day and thought I would never be the same again! Thankfully it passed and so far so good...
I found steam insulation only worked for a few mins before I was mega blocked up again!!
