Ava has been on solids for a couple of weeks now and she has a history of constipatoin so i am paranoid about her poo!

How solid should her poo be on solids? Like adult poos? She does smallish lumpy poos maybe twice a day or so.

hehehe, not sure what the consistency of the *perfect* poo is, but if they look like little rabbit poos (hardish pellets) she may be a little bit constipated. Ideally I guess a solids poo should stick together but be quite mushy in consistency - does that make sense? They shouldn't look too dry, but if there is extra mucous (watery stuff) that's not usually good either. Feel free to correct me anyone!

A few teaspoons of Watties Stage 1 "Apples with prune juice" are useful for getting things moving along if you're worried .

Oh, what does it mean when they have watery bits in with the more solid poos? Ava had that today after i gave her some lactulose (only 1ml)

For me, a good solids poo looks a bit like warm peanut butter in consistency. If it starts to be little nuggets or if she strains then I give her about 60ml of water, she's only really drunk water since we started on solids.
