Hi guys
Got a faint line on an OPT tonight - got all excited until I read that the line needs to be as strong as the control line for it to be a positive.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's any other reason I'd get a faint line?
FYI I am up to day 21. my cycles have been about 44-56 days long, have decided I am going to do an OPT for the next 20 days so I don't miss the moment! (or to determine if ovulation is even happening!)
I tried doing the ovulation tests for the first time in Jan and I had two fade in days where the line was pale but got darker each time then on the 3 day got a positive. I started BDing as soon as I got the first pale line and now have a wee bean to show for it.
Last month I got a faint line one day, a definite positive the following two days and then another really faint on the 4th day. I wonder if you always get a faint one though and it is just at O time when LH is at its strongest that is gets darker???
Hi Hope, yes I wondered that too - have had faint line last cycle at about day 29, didn't get AF til day 56!! Anyway I have entered it onto my chart as a + just for the sake of it, is nice to see FF tell me ovulation may be about to happen! dreams are free eh...
