Quite possibly the stupidest question of the year LOL but Ava slept in her sleep sack for the first time last night (she is usually wrapped) and she went NUTS! Lifting her legs RIGHT UP then SLAMMING them down - arms flailing everywhere. Is that normal? Its like she was out of control.
lol yip its normal you just have an active kid like my one
I put Ty in a safety sleep and he is still in it but can roll around.................she has just descovered the freedom...........i was up all night the first time as i was scared soemthing was going to happen thats why i got the safety sleep........after a few nights she will come right.
Natalie used to get all excited and jumpy when she was in her cot not wrapped, which meant we had to slowly transition out of wrapping and combine with the sleeping bag. (but she was happy moving around)
was Ava upset? sometimes Natalie bangs her legs away on the matress during the night, but she settles herself down again, and seems happy enough.
good luck for tonight! (if it's any consolation, we were up with Natalie for most of the night too, but for different reasons... )
Caden started doing this once we stopped swaddling him, I think he liked the freedom lol. Now he just kicks off his blankets and rolls round the cot and thumps his legs on the bars until he falls asleep lol
He isnt in the sleep sack at the moment cos its way to hot.
Ugh. it is so frustrating because she knocks her dummy out.
She sometimes DELIBERATELY takes it out and then realises she cant put it back in! GRR! and yesterday during her nap time i caught her shoving her dummy in her gloworms face! LOL
Argh Callum does that too - pulls his dummy out then realises it's gone Luckily he doesn't need it once he's asleep but it sure is a pain putting it back in to get him to drift off (emergency measure only at the mo, I don't have the patience to give it to him at every nap/sleep time!)
