I am between 6-7 weeks pregnant. I know I shouldn't feel different in the uterus area, but I do. I feel heavy. So much so that its quite uncomfortable. I had a CS 10 years ago, so I'm also experiencing a bit of weird stretching feeling. But at night I'm finding it really hard to sleep as it feels like I have a cat lying in my pelvis.

Anyone else experienced it?

Yup! Very normal as your uterus starts changing and stretching from the moment the embryo implants itself (I had the same feelings and this is #2 for me).

I had weird feelings too. Not too sure about the cat in the pelvis LOL but it almost felt swollen and heavy. Lots of changes happening down there at the moment. My abdomen started to swell really early on (8 weeks), the MW said it was the body preparing the area for when the uterus popped it at around the 12 week mark. I guess some people feel it more earlier than others.

Yes absolutely, it's more noticeable in subsequent pregnancies. I have on occasions worried about the cramping/stretching pains becoming a m/c but it's not so. PS I had a c/s first time also but the stretching pains are universal.
