Ugh it seems as tho Sophia doesn't want to sleep anymore and boy is she crabby! She is waking every 30-60 mins during the day and every hour at night. She takes ages to settle. Anyone else been through this? If so how long did it last?

Have you tried side sleepin? My second child hardly slept day or night around 11 weeks old and after some recomendations I tried a safe sleeping wdedge that I bought from Baby City. I know side sleeping is not promoted by Plunket but It appears many Mum's do side sleep their babies in a safe method such as using what I did. Worked wonders! He enjoyed being on his side instead of lying flat on back all the time.

Do you allow baby to cry for awhile to see if she settles?

Around 3 months my Son 'matured' and could fall asleep on his own without being feed or rocked to sleep. Just could do it all of sudden, still had issues with his sleep patterns, don't get me wrong, but was much more capable of having a wee cry and then falling alseep for decent amounts of time.

Also recomend Baby Whisper DVD -she has some good ideas.

Hang in there! - things will sort themselves out and maybe try a few new things.

Side sleep & wrap her so she can't wake herself with her arms?

Maybe go to your local plunket family centre and see if they can help you with getting & keeping her asleep?
