 Topic: Affordable breastfeeding tops

Where can I go to try on and buy affordable breastfeeding tops? Really just wanting a couple of dark tees. K-Mart? Warehouse? Farmers?
There is plenty of range on TradeMe but I'm unsure of sizing and I'm tall, hence wanting to try on.

I would say Kmart, their clothes are good quality and really affordable. I can never find the right sizes and/or colour in The Warehouse and Farmers can be quite pricey.
Speaking of, must head down and get some myself

I just got some breastfeeding singlets from Kmart yesterday (as I figured under other tops during winter they would be fab) they were $15, I am wearing one today and it's so comfy and feels alright quality too

I just wear a singlet under all my clothes and then you can pull up whatever top in on top and pull the singlet down. I got cheapie singlets from Kmart or the Warehouse.

This is what I did too. It kept my skin covered but with easy access. I did try a b/f top, but found that the shelf bra bit was too tight.

I'm the same as the other girls. I just bought a few breastfeeding singlets from Farmers and in the beginning I wore them under everything and normal clothes over top.
Nowadays I just wear whatever.

I 2nd/3rd kmart, I got 2 long stretchy feeding singlets for $10 each, normally 15, and last time I scored a feeding dress for under $20 as well. Patch outlets often have maternity/feeding tops, I got the one im wearing now for under $20 and it did me all through pregnancy and now while feeding too.

I got the 3 bears range of TM, they're in Akl and I was able to try them on and got my regular clothing size.
I got a singlet and a t-shirt for $58 for both. They have a two way zip across the bust.

Not quite as cheap as KMart but BabyStar have breastfeeding singlets which just have holes cut out for your boobs. So you wear over it your maternity bra.
I think a 2 pack is $50. I wore them everyday while I was breastfeeding.

3Bears t-shirts are great, not too badly priced but certainly more than a normal t from kmart or something.
I just ordered two 2nds tops from Mummy Matters. They were only $19, 1 of the tops I can't even find the imperfection, the other had a pin sized hole in it. For the price I decided it'd be ok, I can't afford the $50-$70 full price ones!! I've now got a reasonable wee selection of good bfing tops, I can stop wearing the same 2 t's everywhere!

There is another product called "Breastvest" which is a singlet top that is shaped to sit comfortably just under your nursing bra and is held in place by shoulder straps. It covers your tummy, and saves you a fortunate as it converts all our normal tops into breastfeeding tops. I found it particularly good as all you have to do is unhook your nursing bra and lift your top up, rather than having to undo your bra, try and pull the flap down underneath your top, then mucking around trying to find the hole in your top to put your breast through! Can recommend pumpkin patch tops. Think the brand is patch maternity. I bought a couple of second-hand ones off trademe for about $10 each and I also bought a couple from a pumpkin patch outlet shop for around $20. They're pretty comfortable. Have heard good things about the maternity range at K-mart too.

I bought normal string strap singlets, cut the strap where it joined the tpo and sewed domes on the top and strap where I'd cut it, so I just undo the dome and my bra and lift my top. Actual breastfeeding ones are so expensive.
