Anyone in Wellington know a midwife who is really good at dealing with women that have/had depression and PTSD related to previous pregnancies/births? I know someone who is traumatised by her previous experiences with hospitals/births and she is 6 weeks pregnant with her third baby (VERY unplanned).
Hello, I just wondered if you managed to find a midwife? I have recently been diagnosed with aspergers and am looking for a midwife in Wellington at the moment. I know it's not the same but I would really like to find someone who is used to dealing with a situation out of the ordinary! Can you advise? Hope you've been successful in finding someone!
My MW with my 2nd was amazing, I know that shes had a diverse range of clients and has been amazingly supportive with all of them (I have a couple of friends who had her or had her as a back up), if you want her name flick me a PM. I know that she would do her best by you (and/or recommend someone else to you if she knows someone etc) good luck!
