So Miss 4 weeks sometimes wakes up starving during the day, has a big feed and falls asleep again. Have you mums woken your babies (nappy change etc) to keep them up for the 'hour' or just let them sleep? She will not always take more milk if she has been woken or is awake for that time so not sure whether i should bother. Obviously in the night, I dont :-)

As long as she is sleeping well at night I wouldn't bother. If she starts to be awake at night time, then I would probably try waking her during the day to see if it makes a difference :)

i never woke my baby, although she's never been one to sleep during the day so i never really got the chance! i think if she is feeding well then there is no need to try to keep her awake for longer

1 hr is a very long time for some babies to be awake at such a young age,....they are all different,...take your cues from your baby not the clock!

Never wake a sleeping baby
I agree with Kellz, just go with what baby wants. 4 weeks is still so young, just enjoy the sleepy cuddles
