Has anyones little ones had any type of reaction to the MMR vaccine or the meninjitis ones they do at the same time? Ive just come back from the a&e with my daughter shes been screaming a horrible hig pitched scream and thrashing around in pain with what I think is a sore tummy shes also had diarrhoa and been unusually grumpy.
the only ones I remember having a bit of a reaction to were the 15 mth ones. I can't remember if that's the one you're talking about or not. But it wasn't anything as extreme as you described.
You really REALLY need to let your GP know if you think it was anything to do with the vaccines. They keep a national register of reactions and that's partly how they know what to warn other parents to look out for.
a few of us in our coffee group noticed that the 15 mth ones seemed to cause a few days of high temperatures and general grumpiness (probably about half the babies all up). But frustratingly, so few people think to let their GPs know about it.
Yes lisame its the 15 month ones she seems to be alot better today but Ive given her a couple doses of pamol today just incase but it keeps coming in episodes and its not constant so when I brought her to the dr of course shes ok.
I know this is a couple weeks late, but my little guy reacted to the injections at 6 & 12 weeks. He's getting the same again soon at 5 months - not looking forward to it! My doc said that those are fairly common reactions to injections, keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse call back.
