hi not sure where to put this but am about to go for my 20 week scan i have 2 beautiful boys and 2 angel babies that had spinabifida.our last baby max was born at 22 weeks last april and have been told at my 16 week scan that this one is a wee girl and everything looked absolutely fine how ever it has always been the 20 week scan that has picked up spina bifida and am quietly freaking out and would like to know if any one else has been through this as well.i know im so very lucky to have to healthy boys but the fact this one is a girl means everything to us its a feeling of completion to our little family.

I can't imagine your nervousness! I remember being quite nervous with my 12 & 36 weeks scans, but nothing that would be a patch on yours.

We had a bad result from a scan & DH hated to go to any other ones. We had 3 good ones though but always felt sick before going for one.
Really just wanted to say, wishing you all the best & praying for a good one for you x

it didnt there was a mix up with my referral not being sent through so they wouldnt scan me. the best they could do was make another appointment

thats rotten!!
I have a heart child and I remember feeling ok with my second daughter, right up til when we went to the scan. I did know deep down she was ok, but my stomach was absolutely in knots!
I can already feel that tension building being pregnant with number three, and the only advice I can give is just have faith hun, keep your fingers crossed and hope, what else can you do you just have to find a way through it til you get that good news
I will be thinking of you x

right scan sorted for this friday referal is there all we have to do is show up yay am just wanting to get it done now fingers and toes crossed
