I need some thoughts..

DH and I decided to hold off on kids because I had an abnormal smear and had futher testing last year, this year i had a repeat to see if what it was going to do and all that. I wanted to be ok before I complicate things. I've had a letter end of last week saying nothing has changed.

However.. this is how I've been feeling..
*random tummy cramps (kinda like period cramps) with some strong and some weak
*had a couple of bouts of feeling sick
*my nose is way over sensitive
*i suddenly got sick (just a throat thing) for no good reason (only reason i mention this is that i heard from a friend that when implantation happens you immune system lowers)
*getting lots of discharge.. way more than usual (sorry if thats tmi)
*im feeling totally and utterly aware of everything in my lower tummy
*im feeling extremely tired
*i feel like i need to go pee all the time when i really don't need to

Am i being paranoid here in thinking that there may be a possibility of being preggers?

I would just take a test but I really doubt it would show anything as my period isn't due til about the 12th so it's way too early.

DH thinks its in my mind so I wanted some opinions.

You could very well be preggers, however I think I read that most symptoms don't become apparent till 5 or 6 weeks, that is unless it is a multiple pregnancy in which case symptoms can be multipied. It can't hurt to do a test, as if your last period wasn't "normal" it could have been implantation and therefore you are around 7 weeks pregant. I have also found in the past that when I wasn't trying and was late, I could make myself think that I was pregnant and would imagine symptoms.

I would personally be careful with what I ate and did in case I was pregnant, and wait till closer to the 12th to test if symptoms persist

My last couple of periods have been odd but I'm not hoping that I'm pregnant, I'm not hoping that I'm not pregnant. It just confused me having all this stuff going on and being a chick that is always something that is going to spring to mind. And it is a possibility, I wanted to just make sure I wasn't being totally irrational by thinking it as a possibility.

And as a side note, twins run in my family and it's "my turn" to have them lol

We have twins on my side as well as DH's. Thankfully we don't have triplets. I'm not sure how I would deal with that lol..

it sounds like you could be preggers, they are all definately symptoms that i was experiencing early on this time around.
as sarah has said, watch what you eat etc and try to hold off testing til at least the 12th, couple of days after would be better, but i know it's hard to wait.
good luck, i hope you get what you want

Is it fraternal or identical twins in the family and does it run down your side of the family or your partners?

It sounds like it could be pregnancy symptoms but yeah holding off until the 12th or just after would be best.

I hope you get the result you are after.

hmmm I felt really tires and needed to pee heaps as early as 4 weeks...
A nurse told me that if you are feeling nausea from pregnancy then that means your hormone levels (the cause of your nausea) are high enough to show up on a test...makes sense ofcourse but then again some people test too early and get flase negatives...
I think go with your gut, for some reason before I even should have known I was pg I just thought i was, I just had it in my head that something (couldnt put my finger on it) was different and I just knew... cant explain it, just had a feeling...

Fraternal twins runs on my side of the family. Identical twins runs on DH's side. Both of our mums are twins.

I'll hold off til for another week til I do a test. If the suspense doesn't kill me lol.. I'm not very patient and I don't like not knowing something!

Eep! That sounds like a whole lot of twins! At least it's only the fraternal twins that are gentic...small comfort I know!

I can understand how hard it is to wait and it's almost impossible to put it out of your mind!!!

Yes it is a bit like that. At least I'm not really hoping it to be positive or negative. I'll be fine with either result but it's just the not knowing that kills me! lol I'm young so I'm in no huge hurry to get preggers but it would still be nice.

However, if I happened to be preggers with twins...well lol I'd probably cry my eyes out for a day, be annoyed and angry and then get over it The only upside of twins for me is that I'd get all my breeding out of the way in one go!
