Hi all

I'm 14 wks, and even since 8 weeks I have developed these tiny little 'raised lumps' on my chest and lower back, like tiny dry little scabs (ugh) about 3mm in diameter.

I feel all lumpy and gross, and my back feels like sandpaper.

I have an OB appt soon, so I will ask then. I guess it hormones but has anyone else had these?

H,
I know what you mean, I have red spots all over my tummy and bumps on my lower back as well.

I asked what they were at OB last week & all they could tell me was hormones (answer to all pregnancy questions).

Have you tried bio oil? I have been using that when I remember & sometimes I feel like it works.

Good luck with your OB appt.
Mandy

I'm getting them under my boobs and on my tummy. A bit smaller though. The book says most go away after bubs is born.

i had this all over my stomach and back during pregnancy (and still have it to an extent). I went to the doctor who said it was acne caused by the hormones going haywire!

I've got acne on my back, and have had for some weeks now. I agree my back does feel like sandpaper, and it's a good job I can't see it. I haven't put anything on it, to try and make it go away, but I guess it must be hormonal, as I never used to get acne on my back before! Aaarghhh!!

Oh well, ...not much we can do about it I guess aye?! At least it's not on my face!

Maudie23: I've started using bio oil, but only on my tummy and thighs to try and prevent stetch marks, didn't want to put oil on my back incase it aggravated the acne, but if you think it works to improve it, I might try it. I thought it might be the soap I was using that was causing it, but I guess not! Doh!
