Yes - sounds like you're talking about Daniel! He gets tired, then starts wriggling and tensing his legs and body and crying. Today I rocked him through it till he went to sleep, then put him to bed - if I don't, then he gets so distressed it completely backfires on me.

Hmmm and they are all nearly the same age!!!
Maybe its a temperament thing to do with boys?
Brennan def seems like a wind thing...
Do your boys farts stink????? Like rotten eggs.....
And how often do the poo? Brennan is once in a blue moon!

In the book "Oh Baby" by Kathy Fray, she talks about how babies have bad weeks every 3-4 weeks. That certainly fitted with Daniel - apparently week 8 was meant to be bad - it was (is)! I have to hold onto that statement cos it gives me hope we might get over it! Boys are also apparently more into touch - girls are more into voice. Might explain why he needs lots of cuddles! Daniel does smelly farts, but he's also a poo machine - at least once with each feed . I think he often wakes himself up with his farts and poos!

Kel our boys sound so similar!! Most of the time Alex has a little poo most nappies (like a teeny tiny bit) I went to see Mum and Dad yesterday and Mum ended up putting him upsidedown over her shoulder cos he was so full of wind she thought gravity might help bring it out and it did. You could't hear his farts but man could you smell them

Kelpa Cian is a massive squirmer!! and he grunts like a champion too... I figured it was just wind like Henna said.   that and he's SUCH an old man!! lol

wish he didn't poo so much - we had our first really bad "up the back" poo that everyone warned us about today. Gotta hand it to the nappies though - it was all nicely contained, just!

Elle used to go to sleep fine but started to squirm and wince at the 10min mark and it would wake her and then she'd be miserable. Odd.

Chiara doesn't squirm, but she does have the stinky farts, so sulphuric! And she only poos about once a week.

My little one went on to formula on thursday, and for 2 days she has been having green poos - is this normal??

She also suffers from bad wind - walking and gripe water really help ;)

Yup green poos are normal and usually to do with bad wind.....

Do you use it for wind out the top or out the other end...Brennan has major issues getting it out the lower half!

red try bubs on her tummy and rub her back.   I have been pushing Alex's legs up when I have his nappy off and most of them time I get some good farts    I can tell now when he is fighting to keep them in and so I try and counteract him by getting him up and moving his legs around. He did the hugest fart and poop ever yesterday and so I think he has been a little blocked up cos he had some good clear outs and then was feeding heaps last night.

thats that is great, i get so frustrated i wake dw and ask her to walk baby around - which usually gets the wind up...

She is strange our little girl, she won't sleep in her bassinet at night, she will wake up and cry as soon as we put her down.

But during the day she is more then happy to sleep there...
